The versatile rotating ring in numerous versions

A highlight at every trade fair is the "TURN-it" rotating ring. This rotating ring works on the principle of a ball bearing, with a low profile and diameters from 203 to 990 mm and load capacities of over 300 kg. The "TURN-it" represents an intelligent product that, with only 4 different components, offers maximum functionality at an excellent price-performance ratio for many applications. The inner ring rotates independently of the outer ring. The movement is made possible by steel balls running in CNC-milled grooves. Both rings are nevertheless firmly connected to each other by a special design and absorb forces in different dimensions. This opens up new possibilities for product design in many areas of application. Low-noise versions are manufactured for special applications. With the "TURN-it," you set things in motion and achieve your target price. The "TURN-it" rotating ring is available in 4 different versions:

Type S0

This is the entry-level version. The advantage of this version is its very low profile; the S0 version has no height difference (offset) between the inner and outer rings. The necessary distance to the moving object is achieved by plastic spacers. The load capacity is lower than that of types S1, S2, and S3.

Type S1

S1 is the standard version, with a significantly higher load capacity than S0. This is mainly achieved by a greater height. The inner ring has a height offset and covers the ball bearing groove from above. Whether in the upscale display area, for rotating furnishings or appliances, the S1 rotating ring solves many of your application problems and opens up new avenues for product design and presentation, permanently and reliably.

Type S2

This patented version was specially developed for applications requiring particularly smooth and even rotation. All balls are guided by a plastic strip and cannot touch each other during movement. Only 50% of the balls of type S1 are required for this version. This has a positive effect due to reduced friction. The load ratings for most dimensions are higher than those of type S1. The TURN it S2 520 - G and TURN it S2 520 - G types have a concealed guide groove when viewed from above; in all other types of this series, the groove is visible.

Type S3

This "heavy-duty" version is suitable for high-load applications. The raw material consists of a special alloy and is hardened to approximately 85 degrees (Brinell hardness) in a further processing step. In comparison to the standard version, the hardness is approximately 30 degrees. While the breaking load of the S1 type with a 442 mm diameter is 500-560 kg, the S3 ring of the same diameter reaches an average value of 820-900 kg.
